Game Developer
I'm Manuel JesĂşs, a game developer and university student. While my main role in group projects is programming, I also have knowledge across other areas of game development, which allows me to take on and complete projects independently when needed. For me, video games are a way to tell stories, evoke emotions, and connect with players on a deeper level.
I enjoy experimenting with a variety of genres and tones — from light, arcade-style games to narrative-driven experiences with emotional and thematic depth. Throughout my journey, I’ve developed several projects that have helped me explore different aspects of the medium. Some of these include H.O.M.E., an interactive dystopia centered around moral choices and information control; OVERDRIVE: SPEED LEGENDS, a fast-paced low poly racing arcade; and Cuando Se Enciende La Luz, a short but intense psychological horror experience created in Unreal Engine 5.
I’m currently balancing my studies with the development of new personal projects like Lakeside, Nexo or Inferno Feast.
My goal is clear: to keep growing as a developer and to create games that don’t just play — they resonate.
Speaking of games, there's an easter egg to be discovered on this page that has to do with one of the most important Japanese companies in the industry, can you find it?
